KC Event Audio Rental provides audio, lighting, staging, DJ, AV, and related event equipment rental and support services.

All rentals and services are subject to equipment availability, scheduling, approval, and these Terms & Conditions.
 

2. Rental Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to enter into agreements in order to rent equipment or use our services.

We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
 

3. Reservations and Payments

Reservations are not guaranteed until confirmed by us.

A deposit or full payment may be required to secure a booking.

By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

Failure to make required payments may result in cancellation of services or rental reservations.
 

4. Rental Period

Rental periods begin at the agreed pickup or delivery time and end upon return or pickup of the equipment.

Late returns may result in additional charges.

Customers are responsible for ensuring equipment is available and accessible for scheduled pickup times.

5. Equipment Use and Responsibility

Customers are responsible for all rented equipment during the rental period, including:

• Proper operation and handling

• Preventing theft, loss, or damage

• Using equipment only for lawful purposes

• Ensuring equipment is operated in a safe environment

Equipment may not be modified, repaired, sublicensed, or transferred to another party without written permission.
 

6. Damage, Loss, and Theft

Customers are financially responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed equipment during the rental period, excluding normal wear and tear.

Repair or replacement costs may include:

• Equipment replacement value

• Repair labor

• Cleaning fees

• Loss of business revenue while equipment is unavailable

We reserve the right to determine repair or replacement requirements.
 

7. Setup and Technical Support

If setup, operation, or technician services are provided, customers must ensure safe and reasonable working conditions.

We are not responsible for issues caused by:

• Venue power problems

• Weather conditions

• Third-party equipment

• Improper operation by customers or guests

• Venue restrictions or limitations
   

8. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations may be subject to fees depending on timing and services reserved.

Deposits may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

Custom orders, special-order items, labor, and event staffing may be non-refundable once scheduled or purchased.
 

9. Website Use

You agree not to:

• Use the website for unlawful purposes

• Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data

• Interfere with website functionality

• Submit false or misleading information

• Copy or reproduce website content without permission

• Negligence or misuse

13. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:

• Severe weather

• Natural disasters

• Power outages

• Labor shortages

• Government actions

• Transportation disruptions
   

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Missouri.
 

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
